Sunday, April 26, 2026 | 3-5pm ET | $40

Key to Change Wellness - 140 W 14th St, Chattanooga, TN 37402

You’ll be guided through trigger point release and self-massage to ease muscular tension, followed by restorative yoga to support deep rest and relaxation.

We’ll close with tea time, offering a selection of herbal teas. Enjoy a quiet zone for reflection or a social space to connect—whatever feels best for you.

This event requires the physical ability to stand up and get down to the floor without assistance. It will be facilitated following a trauma-informed approach.

Space is limited, so save your spot early! Check the FAQs for more details below.

LATEX ALLERGY NOTE: We will be using rubber lacrosse balls for the trigger point release portion of the event. This event is not recommended for those with a latex allergy.

Event FAQs

  • Every attendee will be able to borrow the following: Yoga block x1, yoga bolster x1, yoga mat x1, yoga blanket x1, trigger point massage balls x2, assortment of herbal tea, to-go cup x1

  • All that’s really needed is yourself! Bring anything that will make you feel more comfortable in your practice. For example: your own yoga mat, extra yoga props if you want more support (blocks, bolsters, blankets, cushions), fidget toy(s), water bottle, journal and pen, or some of your favorite herbal tea and/or mug from home.

  • Wear clothing you’re comfortable in. It’s recommended to dress in layers and to wear socks if your feet tend to run cold.

  • Restorative yoga involves holding (mostly) passive yoga positions using the support of props like bolsters, blankets, and blocks. It triggers the parasympathetic nervous system to reduce stress, improve sleep, and release deep tension in the body.

  • If you’re contagiously sick, please stay home and get well.

If you have a major injury, it’s always best to let it heal first before doing any form of exercise. Depending on the severity and type of injury, there are usually many yoga poses that can still be done with proper modifications. If you have an injury and would like me to be aware so I can help modify exercises during the event, please let me know before class and I’ll do my best to offer you modifications throughout that are safe for your body.

As always, please clear it with your doctor before practicing yoga or any other forms of exercise or movement.
