What is Pilates?

Joseph Pilates invented the movement practice known as Pilates in the early 1900s. Originally called Contrology, the practice consists of making repetitive movements with and without equipment. Pilates is known to increase core strength, improve balance, decrease stress, and more.

Sara is smiling with her hair in a top bun, holding small pink dumbells in one hand and carrying a rolled up yoga mat, Pilates magic circle, and Pilates ball in her other hand.
